Inside Performance presents its modified BMW X6 M
Inside Performance has recently put its modified BMW X6 M on display. The colossal SAC (Sports Activity Coupe) is aptly dubbed “White Shark,” and features both styling and performance upgrades.
The standard BMW X6 M is powered by the 4.4-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that generates about 600 hp (441 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. The motor is mated to a dual-clutch 7-speed DCT gearbox that sends the power to xDrive AWD (all-wheel drive) system. The car runs to 62mph (100 km/h) from zero in about 4.2 seconds, with the top speed being 250 km/h (155 mph), which is electronically limited, or with the optional M Driver’s kit, stretches to a little more than that.
Inside Performance’s power kit increases the engine’s power to 700HP (515 kW) and 1,000Nm (741 lb-ft) of torque, thanks to a complete sports exhaust system with new down-pipes, an ECU re-map and catalysts. The modified car also gets a high-flow air system. The 0-62mph (100 km/h) sprint is completed in 3.8 seconds, with the top speed being 320 km/h (199 mph).
The exterior of the modified car boasts a comprehensive aerodynamics kit with:
· Tuned front and rear bumpers
· Wide wheel arches and spoilers for the boot lid and the roof
· Colossal 22-inch alloy wheels wrapped in high-performance ContiSport Contact tyres
